Practitioner Profile - Richard Steven
 Richard has been running a successful acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Tuina massage practice in North London since 2005. He is an expert in the treatment of infertility, IVF support, pain relief, and stress, depression and anxiety disorders.
Previously, Richard lived in Beijing where he studied at Xiyuan Hospital and the Zhong Ri You Hao Hospital. Following his studies, he received a Bachelor of Medicine degree from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He also has a BSc (Hons) degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Middlesex University.
As well as Chinese herbal medicine, Tuina massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Richard practices the Japanese acupuncture system of the modern day master Kiiko Matsumoto. He has also studied for five years under some of the most experienced Chinese practitioners in the UK.
Richard is a member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM), the main regulatory body for Traditional Chinese Medicine in the UK, and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM) the most important regulatory body for Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioners in the UK.
Richard provides very engaging treatments that aim to empower his patients to govern their health and wellbeing in a positive way.
